Description
Ultra-thin rolled magnesium alloy plate is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant metal with excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it the lightest structural metal available. Magnesium alloy sheets are used in applications where its lighter weight provides a strength-to-weight ratio higher than steel and aluminum. Examples include aircraft structures, electronic enclosures, racing car frames, aerospace components, and medical devices. Ultra-thin rolled sheets of magnesium alloy are also used in batteries and for other energy storage applications. Magnesium alloys are more easily worked than some other metals, which makes forming and machining easier.
Characteristic
1.Specification: 0.03mm-120mm
2.Length: Any size, any zero cut
3.Elongation: 3~10%
4.Thermal conductivity: 155 w/(m K)
5.Melting point: 650°C
6.Tensile strength: 290MPa
7.Features: light weight, recyclable, high specific strength, good precision formability, good heat dissipation and shock absorption, anti-EMI, high dimensional stability
Application
Automobile industry:
Ultra-thin rolled magnesium alloy sheets can be used in body structures and parts in automobile manufacturing. Magnesium alloy sheets have an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that can reduce overall vehicle weight, increase fuel efficiency, and improve vehicle performance and safety.
Aerospace industry:
Magnesium alloy plates also have important applications in the aerospace field. Ultra-thin magnesium alloy sheets can be used to manufacture structures and components of aircraft, rockets and satellites, providing lightweight solutions, reducing fuel consumption and increasing carrying capacity.
Electronic equipment:
As the magnesium alloy plate has good electromagnetic shielding performance and electrical conductivity, it can be used in electronic equipment casings, radiators, electromagnetic shielding covers and other components.
Battery field:
Magnesium alloy plates can be used to manufacture casings and electrode materials for rechargeable batteries. Magnesium alloys have good properties in the battery field, such as high electrical conductivity and high electrochemical activity, and are expected to be applied to next-generation high-performance battery systems.
Packaging industry:
Ultra-thin rolled magnesium alloy sheets can be used in food and pharmaceutical packaging, ideal for both disposable packaging and long-term storage due to its light weight, non-toxic, odorless and good corrosion resistance.
Construction and building materials:
Magnesium alloy plates can be used in building structures, decorative materials, and indoor and outdoor wall panels. Its fire resistance, corrosion resistance and low density allow for sustainable and environmentally friendly building solutions
