Before metal etching plates become exquisite handicrafts, they all need to undergo precise processing technology, so how are metal plates etched?

1. Inspection of metal materials:

When the metal plate of the raw material needs to be etched, it must be inspected first, that is, the work we need to do in the IQC process. Wipe the copper plate that needs to be processed, and then carefully inspect it to eliminate the defective products in the copper plate and ensure that the inputted The product is a good product.

2. Electrostatic dust removal, spraying photosensitive oil, and inspection:

When the metal plate passes the inspection, it will be handed over to the next process: spraying photosensitive oil, but electrostatic dust removal must be carried out before spraying photosensitive oil, because static electricity will exist to varying degrees in the production process and our wiping process, and static electricity will be adsorbed Therefore, electrostatic dust removal must be carried out, so that the dust after electrostatic dust removal will not be adsorbed on the product. After the static electricity is removed, proceed to the next step: spray varnish. The function of spray varnish is mainly to prepare for the next step of photosensitization. After the product is sprayed with photosensitive oil, the product must be carefully inspected. The purpose of the inspection is to see if the product has been sprayed with oil during the injection process, and if there is any residual oil.

3. Photosensitive and developing:

Photosensitive is to place the film on the product that has been sprayed with photosensitive oil. The main purpose is to make the pattern on the film formed on the product by exposure. Special attention should be paid to the fixture during exposure. The film must not be skewed, otherwise the pattern of the product will be skewed and the product will be defective. The film should also be checked regularly and not folded, otherwise it will appear defective. After the exposure is complete, the next step must be taken: development, the purpose of which is to wash away the unexposed parts by developing the liquid drug, cure the unexposed parts, and form an etched pattern. After development, quality inspectors will inspect the product and select undeveloped parts or products with poor patterns.

4. Sealing oil:

The so-called sealing oil is to add oil by hand during the oil injection process, at the edge of the product, at the place where oil cannot be sprayed. During the oil filling process, the metal part of the product must not be exposed, otherwise it will produce bad products after etching. After priming is complete, the product should dry. After drying, the product should be inspected.

5. Etching and cleaning:

Etching is a key step in the entire production process. It is mainly through the chemical action of chemical solutions that corrode the exposed and developed stainless steel parts of the product to form the desired pattern. After the etching is completed, the product is cleaned, the excess paint is washed off, and then the product processing process is completed by cleaning equipment such as a slow puller.

6. Shipping inspection:

The products after the etching and cleaning process are what we want, but we also need to carry out final inspection to remove the defective products in the production process before they can be delivered to the finished product warehouse.
