Etching operation

(1) Ink printing or spraying, the specific steps are as follows.

①Pre-treatment of the base version

a. Use chemical or physical means to remove pollution on the substrate: such as cleaning powder, cleaning powder, etc.

b. Roughen the surface of the base plate: Use an object with appropriate hardness to wipe the surface of the base plate to form traces with a density and depth of about 0.005mm.

c. After treatment, the plate surface before coating should be neutral to ensure good adhesion and uniformity of coating.

Ink oil

a. Stir for 3~5min before use.

b. Add special thinner to adjust viscosity.

c. Check the uniformity of the surface roughness of the base plate.

③Ink printing or spraying

a. Printing: Using 75° squeegee, using white mesh, mesh 77-100T.

b. Spraying: Use a fine-hole spray gun to spray evenly, and the spraying thickness>0. 02mm.

c. Pay attention to the problems that may occur after spraying. The problems, cause analysis, and improvement measures are listed below.Finished Magnesium Etching Plate

④Pre-baking

a. After spraying (printing), let it stand for 10-15min.

b. Pre-baking temperature: (75±5)℃.

c. Pre-baking time: 20~30min on both sides at the same time.Finished Zinc Etching Plate

⑤Exposure

a. It is better to choose a water-cooled T exposure machine with a power of 5kW or 7kW.

b. The exposure is 120~150mJ/cm2, and the exposure time is 5~10min.

c. The vacuum degree of the exposure machine must be above 95%.

d. The temperature of the table is controlled at about 18°C.

⑥Development,

a. Developer concentration: sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate 1.0% ± 0.1%.

b. Developer temperature: 28~32℃

c. Development time: 40~60s.

d. If the developing facility is spray type, the spray pressure is: 2.0kg/cm2.Finished Magnesium Etching Plate

⑦After baking

a. Baking temperature: (120±5)℃.

b. Baking time: 10~20min.

⑧ Matters needing attention

a. Storage and operation of the ink: (a) No dust; (b) Temperature: 10~25℃; (c) Relative humidity 50%~75%.

b. The operation of the ink is not allowed to be carried out in white light or sunlight.

c. The ink is combustible, so fireworks are prohibited in the storage and operation environment.

d. If the ink accidentally contacts the skin or eyes, it must be rinsed immediately with soap and plenty of water, and do not use other solvents.

(2) Corrosion.

① Anti-corrosion package

a. The parts that do not need to be corroded (edge and back) are tightly pasted and wrapped.

b. The wrapping material is: 0.1mm PVC or PET stickers.

②Adjust the corrosion machine

a. Use the same pressure gauge to adjust the pressure of different nozzles uniformly (only before the new machine is used for the first time).

b. Adjust the temperature control switch to set the upper temperature limit to 45°C.

c. Adjust the time control switch and set the time to 5~l0min (check interval).

d. Prepare corrosive liquid.Finished Magnesium Etching Plate

(a) Prepare a solution of ferric chloride with a concentration of 41% (tested with a densitometer).

(b) Add 36% concentrated hydrochloric acid at a ratio of 1% to 1.5%.

(c) Add an appropriate amount of defoamer (when there are patterns on the base plate after corrosion).

e. Check whether each nozzle of the corrosion machine is unblocked (if it is a quick-release nozzle, it should be cleaned regularly).

f. The spray pressure of each nozzle of the corrosion machine should be above 2 kg/cm2.

③Check the workpiece to be corroded

a. Whether the anti-corrosion package is tight and has omissions.

b. Whether the anti-corrosion ink has fallen off, has bubbles, or has trachoma pinholes.

④Clamping parts

a. Clamping workpieces should avoid the parts to be corroded.

b. The clamping T piece should avoid the dead angle of the machine rotation.

⑤Interval inspection

a. Stop and remove the workpiece for inspection every 5~10min (remember the direction of removing the workpiece).

b. Carefully check whether the anti-corrosion ink has fallen off after corrosion. If the ink has fallen off or become loose, it should be repaired immediately.

c. Check the depth and uniformity of the corrosion. If the corrosion is not uniform, change the clamping direction (the same as the direction of removing the workpiece).

opposite).

⑥ Matters needing attention

a. The operating environment of the corrosion process should be ventilated.Finished Zinc Etching Plate

b. If the temperature is too high during the operation of the corrosion process, the cooling device should be turned on.

c. If the corrosive liquid contacts the skin or eyes accidentally, it must be rinsed immediately with soap and plenty of water. Do not use other solvents

Clean.

⑦ Clean after corrosion

a. Carbon deposits should be removed after the corrosion of the steel plate reaches the requirements.

b. After the zinc plate has corroded to the requirements, the surface protective layer should be rubbed off.Finished Zinc Etching Plate

c. After the corrosion of the zinc plate reaches the requirements, if there is a burr, it should be washed with weak sulfuric acid water to passivate the edge and avoid puncture.
