Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet plated with a layer of zinc on the surface. The cleaning process used in the subsequent degreasing and cleaning of galvanized sheet hardware is generally a water washing process, which is divided into acidic, alkaline and neutral according to the type of cleaning agent. 1. Acid cleaning The zinc layer of the galvanized sheet reacts very violently to acidic substances. The use of acid cleaning agents will destroy the coating, so acid cleaning cannot be used. 2. Alkaline cleaning Galvanized sheet can be cleaned with alkaline, but not strong alkali, need to use weak alkali. In the application, attention should be paid to the rinsing of the latter stage. It is difficult to remove the residue of alkaline cleaning agent. It needs to be rinsed with clean water several times. Otherwise, the residual alkali will slowly destroy the galvanized layer and cause oxidation. 3. Neutral cleaning For general cleaning of galvanized sheet, we will recommend to choose a completely neutral cleaning agent if conditions permit.
